DEVLOG where it's normal dev to gamer interaction

So, once you've read the description you can see a lot of meta-narrative right from the start.
The game will be mostly revolve around that.

So, the devlog will be the place where I can take off my mask and communicate you guys.

Here's some of the thing that I absolutely wanted to improve along in the production:

  • Cutscene animations (my first ever full fledged cutscene with dialogue, a lot of cutting corners here and there since I wanted this to be a December 2019 showcase, and now it's already 2020... oh god i'm slow...)
  • Environment art (too temp)
  • VFX (like those fires, man)
  • Music (still uses non-copyright free music, I wanted either to learn how to compose one, or find someone willing to make them.)
  • Dialogue (it's still doesn't felt too great)
  • UI Elements (you can definitely feel the old style of Half-Life or other Source game style UI, while it doesn't have to be like that.)
  • Sound engine (the current unity sound while good enough, it's quite cumbersome and hard to manage for a project any larger than a very small game, and the iteration time for mixing and other stuff is very slow)

But most importantly I wanted to change:

THE CODE STRUCTURE!

Well, this is my project that I have been worked on since college third year?
And a lot of bad code came because of bad decisions back then.
I need to do a code refactoring now, before the project gets any bigger.

I'll be posting bi-weekly updates on my channel at:
IIopn Works Youtube Channel
Subscribe if you wanted to see them, I'll post what I have done so far and what's the future of the project.
